Kitchen, Bathroom and Closet in Rattan

Marbella · 154 m²

About the Project

The client wanted the home fitted with bathroom, kitchen and closet furniture, keeping a consistent colour and material palette across all three spaces. In the kitchen, the fronts were lacquered in a deep green, with an illuminated glass display cabinet and brass handles; the island includes a section with a solid wood countertop alongside the marble one. In the bathroom, the vanity unit has fronts in natural rattan and a backlit mirror, both made in our plant. The bedroom wardrobe combines curved rattan panels with brass handles. All the furniture — including the mirrors — was designed and built in our Málaga workshop.

The Challenge

The main challenge was introducing rattan — a material new to the team on this project — without losing the same level of precision we apply to wood and lacquer work. Natural rattan is a living material, with its own texture variations, which had to be worked into precise curved panels for the wardrobe and flat fronts for the bathroom vanity, without the material's natural variation affecting the millimetre fit of doors and drawers. Working the rattan in our own plant, alongside the lacquering and mirror joinery, let us select and fit every panel by hand before final assembly — something that would have been far harder to coordinate with an outside rattan supplier.

Our Solution

Full-Service Process

We presented the client with a 3D render of the three spaces, to confirm the kitchen's green tone, the rattan design of the wardrobe, and the bathroom vanity design before building anything. In our plant, we lacquered the kitchen fronts, hand-worked the rattan for the curved and flat panels, and built the mirrors to measure, including the bathroom mirror with integrated perimeter lighting. Final assembly coordinated all three spaces to the same finishing standard — we manufacture in our Málaga workshop and install in Marbella, with the same level of detail on every project.

Final Result

The result is a home where three very different spaces — kitchen, bathroom and closet — share a palette and a standard of finish, including a material new to this project, rattan, worked into both the wardrobe and the bathroom furniture. As full-cycle manufacturers, this lets us take on furniture for any space in the home, in the same way we manufacture our own mirrors, without depending on outside suppliers. The project was delivered within the agreed timeline.

Projects

No two projects we build are alike. Each one responds to a different space, a different client and a different technical challenge — that's how we work.
